Heheh yeahh I saw it...I agree with the things you say..but I guess what I'm trying to say is that creations like Chii would make our existence kind of..lack reason.. Like, if you thought of everything you do in life, could be done better, more efficiently and perfectly by something else, you can't help but feel a sense of worthlessness...I mean it would be pretty ironic if you had a "perfect" race serving a species that were generally more flawed and inferior..

College can be tough when you're poor. They had that right in the story X_X
Having persocoms that were actually alive wouldn't make our lives worthless. Since they are alive, they would make mistakes. But, if persocoms never become alive they would just be a cute computer. Most people would get sick of the cute after a while and find out how soulless that the persocom is. Remember, Minoru said that he has fun with Yuzuki but afterwards he feels sad. Yumi said the same thing in the manga. People would feel empty because they would realize your feelings are wasted on something that has none.
